Shipping

We can ship to any address in Australia. We reserve the right to choose what we consider to be the best method of shipment; generally using either Australia Post or Fastway Couriers. We do NOT ship to international destinations.

Please also note that the shipping rates for the items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item can be found on its detail page and includes a small allowance for packaging materials. In line with the policies of the shipping agents we use, all weights above 500 g are rounded up to the next whole kilogram.

Parcels are usually dispatched within 24 hours of receipt of order and payment. During the short periods when Biltong Spice is closed temporarily for annual leave, a notice to the effect will be posted on our website.

Below is a guideline on how long parcels may take to arrive at their destination. Time estimates are similar for Australia Post and for Fastway Couriers. This is a guide only, as we cannot guarantee shipping times by our contractors. 

South East Queensland: 1-2 business days
Other areas in Queensland: 2-3 business days
New South Wales & ACT: 2-4 business days
Victoria & South Australia: 4-5 business days
Tasmania: 5-6 business days

Northern Territory: 5-7 business days
Western Australia: 6-8 business days
 
 

Returns Policy

You may return new, unopened items within 21 days of delivery for a full refund. 

If the return is a result of our error (e.g. you received an incorrect or defective item), we may refund you directly without asking for the goods to be returned.  If we ask you to return a defective product, then we will refund the cost of goods and return freight costs by regular Australian post parcel or satchel.  

If the return is because you no longer want any particular item, then we will refund the cost of goods when we receive the item/s in a satisfactory condition, but we will not offer a refund of any freight or mail costs.

You should expect to receive any refund as above within two weeks of giving us advice and/or returning items to us.

If you need to return an item, please contact us with your order number, details about the product you would like to return and the reason for the return. We will respond promptly with instructions for how to return items.
